Robotic workstations for assembly, packaging and serving

CASSIOLI designs and manufactures robotic areas for the automation of assembly, production, packaging and serving phases. The solutions offered range from simple pick-and-place systems to complex multi-axis systems present as a single station or as a fully automated assembly line. The most sophisticated systems include the latest generation of viewing systems and high processing capacity to enable a smarter work environment.

Applications include:

  • Assembly on assembly lines (automatic loading of the piece on the line, tightening with torque control, laying of panels/semi-finished products/glass plates with application of single or dual-component seals/sealants, etc.)
  • Automated production phase (welding, deburring, painting, finishing, cutting, etc.)
  • Functional testing on assembly lines (verification or inspection of the characteristics of the object to be tested: quality control with viewing systems, checking functionality of the piece, etc.)
  • Handling (from individual metal small parts to the entire unit, which is often bulky)
  • Machine serving (depending on the piece, there are accumulation tables, baskets, component pallets, vertical loaders, vibrating feeders, etc.)
  • Linking (convergence of several assembly lines)
  • Palletizing and end of line (specific systems that are fast, flexible and capable of handling big loads)
  • Handling (general robotic movement, compacting, hanging pieces on carousels, etc.)
