Anthropomorphic robots

Cassioli robotic work islands also significantly improve product quality, thanks to the repeatability of anthropomorphic operations. The versatility, ease of installation and ability to reuse anthropomorphic robots mean a highly flexible level of automation: multiple arms and their joints guarantee coverage of work areas that cannot be reached with other types of machinery. The compact nature of the structure allows high levels of precision (up to 0.1 mm), even at high handling speeds.
The adoption of anthropomorphic robots in the field of integrated automation has notably reduced working times, consequently increasing company productivity.

Robots can also work in so-called “hostile” environments, keeping operators from having to carry out hazardous or burdensome tasks and thus improving safety standards. Handling, based on complex kinematic algorithms, is supervised by a central electronic control system, usually very study to allow for use in harsh industrial environments. The robot’s automatic mechanisms are managed by a structured programming language that governs the entire automatic cycle, stores production data and modifies machine parameters (errors, start-up, stop, etc.).
