PLC CONTROLS ENGINEER

Cassioli USA is seeking a highly motivated PLC Controls Engineer to grow its Birmingham’s office Software Department team. The ideal candidate takes pride in his/her analytical ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills. The candidate will work in a vibrant environment where innovative and high-quality work is encouraged, noticed, and rewarded. He / She will work as part of a small, close-knit team working on implementing infrastructure changes and developing multiple tools to aid and increase efficiencies in Corporate processes and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree OR the equivalent combination of education and/or years of relevant work experience.
Minimum of five (5) years relevant project experience working with controls and automation equipment related to development, programming, debugging, as well as, support and troubleshooting.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, automation controls and Touch Screen ROCKWELL (KOP-Structured Text).
Working proficiency of network systems, including Profinet, Profibus, ProfiSafe and ENET IP.
Ability to develop applications using computer programming skills, database (SQL) skills, and web application skills.
Extensive knowledge of driver technology of Allen-Bradley, Lenze, Siemens, Telemecanique.
Knowledge of standard components as Encoder, Barcode reader, and R-Fid

RESPONSABILITIES:

Working closely with other PC and PLC Programmers as a team to accomplish larger missions
Ability to be a self-starter
Must be able to work under pressure while providing exceptional customer service
Must be able to work closely with team members and independently
Exceptional written and communication skills
Must have ability to travel to support business needs
Flexibility in the schedules and working locations
